As Food for Thought, we created our bakery in Haslington, near Crewe in Cheshire in the
year 2000. Our aim is to produce high quality food with no artificial additives and from top class ingredients. Distinctly different, we have always operated an additive free (includes enzymes and other hidden nasties) policy. We use free-range eggs for everything and locally sourced
ingredients
wherever possible.
All our bread is hand-made and a truly artisan product - made with care and attention
to detail. Making it by the time-dough method (the "old fashioned" proving way) from high quality flours means the process takes longer, allowing the flavours to develop.
Once you try any of our products, you will understand why we have always said "taste the difference".
You may find us nearer to you at a Farmers Market or Special Event many of which we have attended for years.
The Bakery Café we have opened next door serves all our goodies in a relaxed environment with excellent beverages and breakfasts galore!
Buffets are available for business and private gatherings, full of tasty delights that will please all who savour them.
